Anyway - we were happy to visit again (and anyway we weren't going to the beach today). Off we set, along the roads that we were starting to recognise, although that bloody roundabout with 76 exits just down the road got me again. Still second time around we caught the right exit. Still a pretty drive to Bath and we enjoyed it just as much the second time. We arrived at C & S' for a coffee, then set off in convoy for M &M's place in Peasedown St John. We got there just fine, but as we pulled up the threatening clouds stopped threatening and unleashed.

Setting off from Bath for the |
Mike had obviously done this before as he had his barbecue set up under a shelter outside on a paved area. No stopping these people. Actually it turned out really well, lots of great food (and some NZ wine) and lots of additional family to make it quite a memorable occasion.

What a great setup! |
We finally made our goodbyes late in the afternoon, tumbled back into the Ford, pushed the home button on TomTom and set off for Cirencester. A wet trip back, rain and standing water. All weather jokes aside, we had another great day, and met lots of new, and old, friends. We were quite sad to say goodbye.
Tricia noted this day as:
BBQ at Mo and Mike's. Went to Colin and Steph's for coffee and on to Peasedown St John. Lovely lunch. Left late afternoon. Very wet.
